LANDESK has unveiled a new version of its IT Asset Management (ITAM) Suite that includes a Workspace, targeted at IT asset managers.
The suite is said to provide a simplified view of IT assets in a central location.
LANDESK director of product management, Matt Bingham, said the company wanted to reinvent the way users interact with its products.
“By utilising LANDESK Workspaces, the ITAM Suite lets asset managers explore cost savings, identify audit risks and take action on that data from any device,” he said.
According to LANDESK, the ITAM Suite provides visibility into software compliance, hardware asset lifecycles, license entitlement and hardware refresh policies.
LANDESK said the integration provides opportunities to drive cost savings by reclaiming unused software and repurposing underutilised hardware.
The integration also offers asset visibility tools, licensing information automated warranty refreshing and is available on any device.
The company’s ITAM evangelist, Patricia Adams, said knowing how to act on data is more meaningful than the data itself.
“Having the data displayed in a format that allows for rapid business decision-making enables the asset manager to be more efficient,” she said.
