Diversified technology and manufacturing company, Honeywell, has announced the expansion of its A/NZ reseller network. Some of the recent additions to the Honeywell reseller network include GPK Group, Think Wireless, Store Innovation, and POS 99.

The company said, in a statement, that it increased its A/NZ reseller network by 34 per cent in 2015, expanding the reach of its scanning and mobility solutions to customers in the collection and delivery, healthcare, field workforce, ports, postal and retail sectors.

It added that this growth has enabled more of Honeywell’s resellers and their customers to have access to a rapidly expanding range of solutions that aim to help customers optimise their business operations.

Honeywell A/NZ scanning and mobility country manager, Tony Repaci, mentioned the company’s resellers and their customers also have access to a rapidly expanding range of solutions to meet varying business needs.

He claimed this is a result of Honeywell’s focus on operating systems to “ensure the life cycle of a technology deployment is future-proofed”.

As an example, he mentioned building products for Apple has enabled Honeywell to integrate enterprise sleds with barcode capabilities for iOS devices for the retail landscape, and the collaboration with Microsoft has allowed it to deliver the Windows Embedded 8.1 Handheld platform to Honeywell’s mobility devices so they can work in sync with wider enterprise systems.

“Honeywell is now providing an even wider portfolio of innovative technology solutions designed to help optimise workflow processes, to make workers more effective. All our resellers are committed in partnering with Honeywell to help meet the needs and improve customer workflow processes,” he said.

Repaci added the company also recently showed its commitment to strengthening partnerships with its growing reseller network through a new rewards program, The Biggest Game in Town, which has offered resellers the opportunity to win a number of prizes.
