Enterprise mobility platform company, BlinkMobile Interactive, was presented with the best enterprise mobility solution award at the recent Cloud World Series awards forum staged in London.
The company was the only Australian business to be shortlisted for any of the award categories and ultimately chosen amongst nominees, which also included AirWatch and Tangoe.
BlinkMobile chief technology officer, Alan Williams, said its Blink Mobility Platform solution was in the running for the win as it comprises a combination of services and technologies addressing the myriad issues associated with large scale, rapid, multi-platform, productivity app development.
"Public and private sector organisations all over the world now are benefitting from BlinkMobile’s ability to deliver mobile service offerings which interface with existing corporate systems as required and without concern for ongoing end user device issues,” Williams said.
He added the Cloud World Series award is also recognition of the gains BlinkMobile has made in the past year in terms of both technical development and client acquisition.
“BlinkMobile has developed the first fully offline operation of hybrid Android apps and more recently expanded its server side capability with its new Envoy services that manage work-in-progress, APIs, authentication and workflows to optimise the mobilisation of core business processes.”
In addition, BlinkMobile’s corporate client base has increased significantly with new client revenues that have increased threefold over the previous year.
“International expansion ranks as BlinkMobile’s main priority for the year ahead, and this award, along with our other recent successes, will add substantially to our ability to deliver on the goal. We’re looking forward to cementing our relationships with key partners in the European and North American markets,” director and chief sales officer, Tony Harris, said.
