What can an artist achieve with just a notebook and 17 hours of battery life? Quite a lot by the looks of it.

Japanese artist, Tomokazu Matsuyama, recently took on the Toshiba Made in 17 Hours challenge, which saw him create art pieces on a laptop with a few hours of battery life on it.

Just before boarding a flight from Sydney to Tokyo, he was handed a fully charged Toshiba Portégé Z20T laptop tablet that has 17 hours of battery life. In that time, Matsuyama created an entire collection of artworks that is currently on exhibition at Sydney’s Museum of Contemporary Art.
