ASX listed hardware distributor, Dicker Data (ASX: DDR), has announced that it will host its first national roadshow in July and August.
Named TECHx, the roadshow will visit Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Perth, with the theme "multiply your business, multiply your revenue streams, multiply your opportunities”.
The evening event will allow reseller partners to meet and network with sponsorship partners whilst experiencing some of their latest technologies on the exhibition floor.
Dicker Data marketing and strategy general manager, Ben Johnson, said TECHx provided an excellent opportunity for the company’s partners to get reacquainted with the Dicker Data brand, its partners, and the team they deal with every day.
“TECHx is the first Dicker Data event of this scale. As we continue to move forward from our integration with Express Data, we thought this was a perfect opportunity to get our partners in front of the full vendor suite that we now represent.
“This is the first opportunity that we got as a combined business, to go to market as one and go to all of our partners and inform them of our value proposition and educate them of the Dicker Data story in partnership with all of the key vendors on board this event,” he said.
Hosted by ARN and Dicker Data's platinum sponsors, Cisco, HP, Lenovo, Microsoft and Toshiba, the event will start with a keynote panel session where resellers will hear from vendor partners on key industry trends and how they are addressing the needs of businesses.
“Our keynote panel session will provide insights for our partners who are looking to capitalise on new market opportunities,” Johnson said.
“We’re also looking forward to demonstrating our Cloud offering on our stand at the event. We want to have greater exposure and raise the awareness of our Cloud platform, as well as the range of the vendor products that we do carry now. The Dicker Data service suite will be a large part of this as well.”
Some of the other sponsors on board include: Fujitsu, LG, WD, APC, Ruckus, Targus, WatchGuard, Asus, Belkin, Citrix, Kensington, Kingston, Motion, Netgear, Plantronics, Qnap, SAP, Samsung, Storagecraft, Symantec, Veritas, and TP-Link.
The first roadshow will be held in Brisbane on July 28. Perth and Melbourne will follow on August 11 and August 18, respectively. It will end in Sydney on August 26.
