Identity management company, Centrify has simplified migration to Microsoft Office 365 with the launch of Centrify Identity Service (CIS) for Office 365. CIS for Office 365 runs on the Microsoft Azure Cloud platform and is a solution for Active Directory-based SSO, user provisioning and mobility management.

According to the company, the solution provides users with single sign-on across all devices and IT with automated provisioning, centralised management and better enforced access policies.

Some of the features of CIS for Office 365 include granular licensing and entitlement, security and Simplicity for Office 365, migration on IT’s timetable, SSO and secure access to on-premises SharePoint, as well as a build on Azure for full support at every step of the Cloud transition.

Centrify chief product officer, Bill Mann, said this launch opens the doors for Centrify to recruit larger corporate reseller partners that sell Office 365 and other applications.

“Centrify simplifies and accelerates migration and adoption of Office 365. Users get single sign-on across all devices and IT can automate provisioning, centralise management and better enforce access policies,” he mentioned.

Mann added the solution allows IT to get the most out of its investment, and enables a speedy deployment without having to skimp on security.

“CIS provides an end-to-end solution for customers looking to migrate to Office 365 simply, quickly, and without additional infrastructure,” he added.
