The service provider of the year award went to Macquarie Telecom, for its substantial vCloud Air Network revenue and transactional growth in 2014, as well as its investments and commitments to building VMware-based offerings.
Infront won the software defined datacentre partner of the year accolade, attributing its success to backing its business on VMware and EMC and leading the way in selling the SDDC vision to government and NSW commercial customers.
As for the end user computing partner of the year award, it went to Data#3 for showing the highest contribution over the past year in terms of desktop revenues, numbers of desktop customers and commitment to VMware’s end user computing strategy.
The awards ceremony also saw Perfekt win the rising star of the year award for its commitment to building its VMware practice around sales, technical and services competencies. According to VMware, it’s also continued this growth into 2015 and has just been promoted to the premier partner level.
