It was all smiles around as Veeam named its top partners for 2014 at the recent Veeam ProPartner Conference and Awards Ceremony. Hosted at the Hunter Valley this year, the company took the opportunity to celebrate the achievements of its partner ecosystem.
The ProPartner Awards were presented to the year’s top performers as measured by an evaluation matrix covering earnings growth, ability to demonstrate a core understanding of Veeam’s portfolio, and strategies that address the needs of customers and services provided.
Data#3 nabbed the top Australia ProPartner of the Year 2014 award, while Lexel was named New Zealand ProPartner of the Year 2014. As for the A/NZ Distributor of the Year 2014 title, it was Ingram Micro that nailed it.
Zettagrid went home with the Australia Cloud Provider Partner of the Year 2014 title, and CommArc got the New Zealand version of the award. In addition, Meridian IT Australia got mentioned as A/NZ ‘Rising Star’ ProPartner of the Year 2014.
Individual prizes were also handed out at the awards ceremony – both Darryl Crossley (technical Lead at BEarena) and Anthony Spiteri (lead architect at ZettaGrid) shared the Technical Champion of the Year 2014 title.
“Our partners are crucial to our business and we want to celebrate and reward the relationship we share. Given that we run on a 100 per cent channel model, without our ProPartners, Veeam would not be where it is today,” Veeam A/NZ vice-president, Don Williams, said.
He also took the opportunity to highlight the company’s vision for 2015, which is to continue its double-digital sequential growth.
“We are confident 2015 will see us continue this trend as more companies look towards availability for the modern datacentre and the solutions to enable the always-on business. Our partners will be with us on this exciting journey,” he added.
