American Power Conversion (APC)

APC now provides free benefits for home and SME users seeking to protect their PCs and electronic equipment from damaging power surges and spikes. Under the Equipment Protection Policy (EPP), APC’s UPS customers will be reimbursed up to $200,000 for damage to properly connected equipment, including disrepair caused by lightning strikes. The EPP covers all products in the SurgeArrest and Back-UPS ranges. SurgeArrest comes with a retail price of $90, while the Back-UP ES costs $262 and the Back-UPS CS costs $221.

Opti-UPS

The advanced PowerPS series of UPS systems offer the most comprehensive power protection for servers and mission-critical equipment. The PowerPS series is the most affordable, true sine-wave UPS on the market. Its line-interactive technology provides guaranteed security from fluctuating commercial power voltage, power blackouts, surges, sags and other unpredictable power disruptions.
