Schneider Electric has appointed Chris Leong as its new chief marketing officer and member of the executive committee.
Leong replaces Chris Hummel, who will pursue career opportunities outside the company.
Leong will be responsible for the company’s brand and marketing strategy. She has 30 years experience in sales, marketing and management.
She will oversee global marketing teams, from external and internal communication through digital customer experience to content and field marketing.
Leong will report directly to Schneider Electric chairman and chief executive, Jean-Pascal Tricoire.
Leong joined Schneider Electric in January 2012 as senior vice president of the firm's partner excellence project before taking charge of the Asia-Pacific lifespace business in July 2012.
Since 2013, she was in charge of the digital customer experience division.
