Customer Relationship Management (CRM) vendor Multiactive Software is to rebrand under the name of its flagship software, Maximizer.
The company has decided to change its name to provide a more concise picture of the company’s focus – CRM software for the mid-market. “Maximizer is the product and brand that people are most familiar with,” marketing and channel sales manager for Maximizer in Australia, James Granter, said.
The company is running a worldwide launch that will include the complete repackaging of its products, new Web sites in every region and e-mail campaigns. Shares of Maximizer Software will now be trading under the ticker MAX on the Toronto Stock Exchange.
Multiactive previously attempted to sell its high-end product, Entice, through the channel but found little traction, Granter said. Prior to the re-branding, the company modified Entice to make it more suitable for the mid-market by splitting the software down into modules and reducing its cost. Now under the brand Maximizer Enterprise this product will be distributed by ACA Pacific while Intellitron and Saratoga will continue to handle retail distribution of the small business friendly Maximizer product.
Granter said the company would hold a National seminar launch in every major Australian capital city in March and concentrate on joint marketing efforts with select individual partners.
