Optus Business has struck a five-year agreement with Church Resources to deliver a large range of telephony and data services.
Church Resources, a provider of aggregated procurement services to almost 20,000 not-for-profit members, will be able to procure its members’ mobile and fixed line offers at highly competitive rates, including voice, mobile and data services.
Optus Business managing director, John Paitaridis, said, the partnership enabled Optus Business to showcase the breadth of its telecommunications and ICT expertise to Church Resources members.
“We view this as an opportunity to deliver quality solutions and great value telecommunications to the Church, not-for-profit, health and education sector as they increasingly adopt digital technology to drive productivity and member benefits,” he said.
The agreement will cover Voice – fixed line voice services, Mobile – voice and data services for mobiles or tablets and Data – dedicated data solutions.
Church Resources chief executive, Luke Kenny, said, his organisation had been a major provider of mobile telephone and fixed line services to Australian Church groups for over 16 years.
"Our new partnership with Optus allows Church Resources to leverage our buying power to support all Australian not-for-profit organisations, not just Church," he said.
“This new agreement supports our vision to drive business transformation through the adoption of digital technology across the not-for-profit sector, enabled by a comprehensive mobile and data network capability.”
Mr Paitaridis said Optus Business would seek to develop further opportunities in the not-for-profit and charity sector.
