US-based wireless vendor, Ruckus Wireless, has appointed Kash Shaikh as its new global head of marketing.
Reporting to Ruckus chief operating officer, Dan Rabinovitsj, Shaikh will lead the Ruckus marketing organization worldwide, including corporate, product, technical, field, channel and regional field marketing, in addition to demand generation, field training, marketing communications and events.
“Kash’s proven ability to develop and implement successful go-to-market strategies in new and existing market segments and verticals aligns perfectly with our vision for growth in the industries we serve and the geographies we are conquering,” said Rabinovitsj.
“We look forward to enhancing our overall brand and market leadership position worldwide with Kash leading our global marketing organization.”
Shaikh brings more than 18 years of marketing and management experience in the networking industry to Ruckus.
He said Ruckus has a strong vision and has consistently outperformed in the overall WLAN market.

Shaikh previously served as vice president of Platform Marketing and Business Development for Riverbed Technology, responsible for leading their portfolio marketing and technology alliance organizations.
