Intel has appointed former Dell gaming marketing manager, Kathryn Hudson to lead its A/NZ channel push.
As channel marketing manager, Hudson will be responsible for channel marketing across ANZ.
According to a company statement, her focus will be driving initiatives that cater to Intel’s 3,900 channel partners and over 800 Intel technology providers (ITP), targeting small format resellers, system builders, and the broader SMB market.
Intel A/NZ national marketing manager, Danielle Watts, said Hudson brought a strong understanding of the enthusiast and gaming market to the role and had experience in the channel world leading integrated marketing campaigns for resellers.
Hudson said she was looking forward to being part of an innovative company that encourages big ideas.
“There is so much creativity in the DIY, NUC and enthusiast areas particularly as the maker movement is gaining momentum – so it’s a very exciting time to be part of Intel,” she said.
Kathryn joins Intel following seven years with Dell, where she was most recently marketing manager for gaming across Asia Pacific and Japan.
She holds a Bachelor of Business, Marketing, Advertising and Promotions Management from the University of Technology Sydney.
The appointment is effective immediately.
