eServGlobal has appointed Stephen Blundell as it new chief operating officer.
Blundell has served as the company's chief financial officer since 2009 and will now step down from that role.
He will be responsible for eServGlobal's day-to-day operations.
He will oversee end-to-end revenue delivery, working closely with the team under him to streamline every step of the product development, sales, deliver and revenue process.
In the role of COO, he will report to chief executive, Paolo Montessori.
Montessori will continue to oversee the function of finance, HR, legal and investor relations, while having more time to work with the board on the development of the group's strategy to achieve long term, sustainable growth.
eServGlobal chairman, Duncan Lewis, said Blundell had demonstrated great commitment and achievement as CFO.
"This is an important step in the company's development as it focuses now on the transformation of its core business following the successful creation of the HomeSend joint venture.
"The board will continue to update shareholders as it implements its strategy."
Blundell will remain an executive director of the company and as one of eSerGlobal's directors, on the board of HomeSend.
Andy Duffen has been appointed as an interim vice-president of finance, while a formal process to recruit a successor to Blundell gets underway.
