Since completing its acquisition of Motorola Solutions Enterprise business, Zebra Technologies has revealed its leadership line-up for the Asia Pacific region.
Zebra purchased Motorola Solutions enterprise business for $3.45 billion in cash. As part of the sale, approximately 4500 Motorola Solutions employees were transferred.
Rod Rodericks has taken the role of vice president and general manager, APAC. Rodericks has been with Zebra for more than 10 years and was previously APAC managing director.
Ryan Goh maintains his role as vice president of sales, APAC and Penny Chai also holds her position as APAC marketing director.
David Arkles has been appointed as the A/NZ regional sales director. Arkles was previously the A/NZ general manager enterprise for Motorola Solutions.
Other appointments across the Asian region include Wu Jian as regional sales director for the greater China region; Takanori Furukawa - regional sales director for Japan, John Woo - regional sales director Korea, Deep Agarwal - regional sales director India, Michael Lam regional sales director for southeast Asia.
All six regional sales directors will report to Goh.
According to Zebra, APAC has become a high growth region, particularly in the past five years.
Zebra highlighted the deployment of asset intelligence solutions as a potential growth area and opportunity to collaborate with local partners.
