cloudBuy becomes GS1 partner

cloudBuy’s Spend Analysis and eMarketplace technologies will support GS1 standards.

eCommerce platform provider, cloudBuy, has joined the GS1 Alliance Partner Program.

This associate alliance partnership will ensure cloudBuy’s Spend Analysis and eMarketplace technologies support GS1 standards.

GS1 Australia is a not-for-profit organisation that administers the global GS1 System of supply chain standards in Australia.

As a GS1 Alliance Partner, cloudBuy can enhance and extend the value of existing capabilities across its entire product range of business efficiency tools, which connect organisations with their suppliers and customers.

cloudBuy chairman and CIO, Ronald Duncan, said the partnership with GS1 will become a valuable asset in the region.

“Several of the health jurisdictions actively exploring the benefits of cloudBuy’s solutions are also heavy users of the National Product Catalogue which is maintained by GS1 Australia,” Duncan said.

“Releasing value for large public and private sector clients is more reliant than ever on understanding the value of big data and master data management, our alliance with GS1 Australia is a key element of this process and we look forward working with them to fully leverage the benefits they can bring to our clients.”

GS1 Australia’s Alliance Partner Program provides small and large businesses with supply chain enabling tools, priority notification of new technologies and innovation initiatives to improve supply chain efficiency, comprehensive best practice case studies and professional advice in GS1 implementations.
