UPDATED: GCS Agile partners with Yellowfin

Provides vendors business intelligence products

Yellowfin entered a reseller partnership with Global Consulting Services (GCS Agile) to offer its business intelligence (BI) products in Australia.

The Melbourne-based reseller will offer Yellowfin’s BI solution and associated products to its current and future clients. It is said the products will augment GCS Agile’s current offerings.

GCS Agile CEO, Gerry Carcour, said he was confident the partnership would be mutually beneficial because Yellowfin ad GCS Agile shared similar views on the reporting and analytics market.

“Yellowfin is an innovative organisation, providing a solution that’s aligned with the GCS Agile data-driven vision. I know e can do great things together.”

Yellowfin CEO, Glen Rabie, told ARN the most critical component of any deal for the company was implementation of the product.

“That’s not something we do and that’s why we have a really large channel reseller base. We really rely on our partners to [provide] the services to make sure the customer is successful.”

“That’s the bigger criteria ultimately, it’s always possible to do a deal but making sure the customer is delighted at the end, once they have the product, is what makes us successful in the long run.”

“We view GCS Agile as a long-term strategic partner that will assist Yellowfin to expand its presence in the Australian marketplace,” he said.

Rabbie reiterated that the firm was committed to growing its channel business and said the launch of Yellowfin in the AWS Marketplace was just another part of this strategy.
