Cloud provider, ASE, has appointed Cristian Ibarburu as business development manager for the Australian region.
Ibarburu will be responsible for developing new business opportunities, building key customer and channel partner relationships, as well as implementing sales objectives and strategies for the region.
ASE chief executive, Andrew Sjoquist, said Cloud adoption among Australian organisations was now becoming mainstream.
"Our business continues to evolve and expand, boosted by the demand for managed services," he said.
"Cristian brings to the position a wealth of experience in the wholesale, channel and telecommunications industry, having worked for some of Australia’s leading telco companies.”
Prior to joining ASE, Ibarburu was a channel support manager at Australian VoIP service provider, engin Ltd.
Subsequently, engin was acquired by Eftel, an internet service and telecommunications provider, which in turn was purchased by M2 Group.
Cristian Ibarburu said: “ASE has a great reputation in the industry and a great culture. I am looking forward to taking on the next challenge and focusing my efforts not only on selling Voice and Data, but expanding the business across the whole cloud portfolio ASE offers.”
