Capgemini Australia has partnered Sydney-based project management services firm Adaptra in a move targeting the insurance industry.
One of the key joint go-to-market solutions to be leveraged from this partnership is Capgemini's Insurance Connect Platform-as-a-Service solution for policy administration, billing services, claims management and business intelligence.
The solution is a preconfigured set of optimised services, leveraging Guidewire InsuranceSuite, tailored for specific market segments and hosted in a Cloud environment. The advantages of this solution include: access to best in class technologies; lower cost of entry; increased speed to market; predictability in total cost of operations, and a flexible subscription-based model.
According to a company statement, the partnership aims to redefine the way insurers address key industry challenges through core business and technology transformation.
"Built on an exclusive collaboration that draws on the distinct strengths of each company – Capgemini’s proprietary accelerators, assets, experience in local and global markets and Adaptra’s wealth of knowledge and experience in delivering tangible business outcomes across a wide range of projects and industries, the partnership will allow enterprises to achieve new levels of efficiencies and customer satisfaction, faster and easier than ever before," according to a company statement.
Capgemini A/NZ senior vice president and managing director for industry sector and marketing, Manoj Khera, said the company had developed an expertise that was renowned in the financial services industry, partnering with over 900 clients worldwide.
"We believe our combined portfolios of global and local insurance experience, suite of innovative technologies, expertise and Capgemini’s Rightshore network globally will provide our clients the necessary edge to respond to new market opportunities, gain operational efficiencies and focus on essential business activities and brand differentiation,” he said.
Adaptra managing director, Peter Overton, said his company was excited to be partnering with Capgemini in Australia and accessing its global Rightshore network as the next step in providing our expertise to a broader range of insurance customers.
"We are seeing an increased demand from insurance enterprises for leading and cost effective solution offerings. Our alliance can provide the transformation to enable organisations to address the market with greater speed, efficiency and confidence.”
Adaptra Group was founded in 1998 to provide project management services to the insurance sector.
