Kingston Technology has announced the limited availability of its DDR400 memory modules for assemblers.
The ValueRAM 256MB and 512MB DDR400 dual inline memory modules (DIMMs) have been tested on the Agilent 83000 platform and will be used with motherboards supporting DDR400 memory, such as the Asus A7V8X, MSI KT4, Abit KD7, Iwill KK400 and Gigabyte's GA-7VAX and GA-7VAXP boards.
"Kingston is supporting white box and systems builders, gamers and other PC enthusiasts by introducing DDR400 memory modules to Kingston's already comprehensive line of ValueRAM memory products," said Mike Sager, Kingston's senior vice president, sales and marketing.
The limited release of the modules is to prepare the channel for volume shipments over the next few months, Kingston said. The ValueRAM range is available from Simms International, Synnex and Tech Pacific.
