Cloud and communications services provider, ASE, has overhauled the unified communications infrastructure and wide area network (WAN) for direct debit service provider, Ezypay.
The new infrastructure involves ASE’s UCCloud, which is a complete voice management system that brings together unified communications and cloud technologies built on Cisco's Unified Communications Manager (UCM) infrastructure.
It also involves ASE CloudCall, a call termination and carriage service that replaces traditional telephone lines. All calls are completed in the cloud, enabling highly competitive call rates to local, national and mobile numbers.
"We installed Ezypay's entire unified communications package including contact center, instant messaging and telephony both here in Australia and in Malaysia,” ASE CEO, Andrew Sjoquist, said. “It was a great demonstration of what ASE is capable of in terms of integrating a complete communications suite for a fast growing company."
Ezypay infrastructure manager, Andrew So, said the integration of ASE’s WAN, as well as the relocation of Ezypay's datacenter into a co-location arrangement with ASE's infrastructure has resulted in increased reliability and greater WAN speeds.
"It reduces the headaches associated with managing our own infrastructure. We have also seen greater integration between our offices in Malaysia and Sydney," So said.
