Software company Interactive Intelligence Group has appointed R-Group International as an Elite Partner.
The agreement enables R-Group to provide sales, service and support nationwide for the entire suite of Interactive Intelligence communications solutions.
The solutions, which can be deployed in the Cloud or on-premises, offer contact centre, unified communications, and business process automation functionality.
Headquartered in Perth, R-Group operates a comprehensive billing system across various technology offerings.
Interactive Intelligence will now enhance this offering with a call centre solution.
R-Group International, managing Director, Joshua Newton, said, the company had been seeking a suitable partner in the contact centre space and trialled a range of options.
"The Interactive Intelligence suite of solutions presented a fully-featured offering backed up by a well-established and professional organisation,” he said.
“From our experience so far, the Interactive Intelligence system appears to offer a compelling, highly functional interface and an extremely comprehensive and well developed set of functions and features. For small or large call centres, the potential gains to productivity and performance are significant."
According to a company statement, R-Group is a strong Microsoft Partner in the communications space and offers Microsoft Lync as one of its key solutions.
It is also a licensed Australian telecommunications carrier.
The Interactive Intelligence solution for Lync will now complement these existing service offerings through its range of contact centre solutions which optimise the customer experience.

Interactive Intelligence Elite Partners gain access to extensive sales training, education and certification, an internal-use Interaction Center (IC) demonstration system, and access to partner portal resources.
They also have a dedicated partner account team and a channel sales manager which works with them to identify and qualify leads, assist with pre-sales tasks, implementation planning, and service activities to successfully close deals.
Interactive Intelligence pre-sales engineers are available for technical assistance, as is a technical support hotline for an Elite Partner’s own engineers who hold Interactive Intelligence product certifications.
