The expansion of the Melbourne-based search engine optimisation company, Web Marketing Experts, is set to create 115 new jobs.
The company has opened its expanded offices in Melbourne to allow it to accommodate a projected growth of 115 new jobs, adding to its 285-strong workforce, by the end of the year.
Founded by Nick Bell in 2008, Web Marketing Experts now has more than 2500 Australian clients and 4000 globally, including RACV, Regus, Groupon, RT Edgar, Allied Pickfords, Singtel, Jims Mowing and World Vision.
It also operates offices in Singapore, Hong Kong, California and New Zealand.
Victorian Technology Minister, Gordon Rich-Phillips, said Web Marketing Experts had shown what could be achieved when Victorian companies seized the opportunities presented by the growth of the digital economy in Victoria.
“The success of Web Marketing Experts is a great story for all Victorian businesses generally, with its recognition of new market opportunities,its investment in skilled people and technology, and its delivery of innovative products and services,” he said.
"Since coming to office, this government has helped to facilitate over $1 billion in technology-related investment and 5000 new jobs.”
