First Point Global has partnered Ping Identity in a bid to deliver innovative identity access management solutions.
According to a company statement, SaaS providers want their applications to appear as an extension of the security and identity management infrastructure their enterprise customers already have.
The challenge is to build these cross-domain relationships while balancing the need for security and convenience.
First point global founder and chief executive, John Havers, said Ping Identity offered comprehensive access and federation solutions built on open standards.
"So the days of having to install complex infrastructure with multiple apps servers and directories are over,” he said.
“This means that customers can get productive quickly, which contributes to outstanding ROI.”
Havers said it was an ideal solution for organisations growing with omni-channel strategies, with solid security for Enterprise IAM, and speed and ease of use for Consumer IAM.
“Ping solutions are built on Java, SAML, REST and SCIM (Simple Cloud Identity Management)," he said.
"Rich functionality comes out of the box with support for social sign-on, strong authentication, leading SaaS applications and mobile devices, together with open APIs for on-premise integration.”
Ping Identity managing director, Jason Bonds, said leading organisations in Australia and New Zealand were embracing cloud and mobile technology to grow their businesses and be more efficient.
"We are excited to be working with the premier identity and access management consultancy in the region to bring proven solutions to companies of all sizes," he said.
According to a company statement, Ping Identity’s IAM platform gives enterprise customers and employees one-click access to any application from any device.
It works on enterprise grade on-premise/hosted solutions to on demand workforce identity management solutions that provide secure SSO to SaaS and local apps.
It also provides enterprise identity bridge technology for standards-based federated identity management, federated SSO, secure mobile access, API security, social identity integration and automated user provisioning.
