Australians will be able to walk into an Optus, Telstra or Vodafone store and buy Nokia’s upcoming Lumia 930 flagship next week.
Optus confirmed to Good Gear Guide it will be the first to market in Australia with the Lumia 930 on shop shelves on Friday 11 July. Telstra will release the Lumia 930 on 15 July and Vodafone will follow on 16 July.
How much will it cost?
The Nokia Lumia 930 will be available from Telstra for $75 per month on a 24-month contract. Pricing covers the smartphone's instalments on the company's mobile accelerate plan, which includes $700 of value and 1.5GB of data each month.
Good Gear Guide can reveal Vodafone will be offering the smartphone for $76 per month on its Red plan, which comes with 'infinite' national standard calls and twice as much data as Telstra with 3GB.
Optus confirmed to GGG it will be offering the Lumia 930 for $69 per month over 24 months, (broken down at $9 monthly instalments on the $60 My Plan). The postpaid plan includes 'unlimited' standard national calls and 2GB of internet data allowance.
Outright
Telstra will undercut Nokia’s outright recommended retail price of $729 by offering the smartphone for $672. Vodafone is offering the Lumia 930 outright for $899 — $170 more than retail.
Nokia’s budget Lumia 635 will be released simultaneously. The 4.5in, Windows Phone 8.1 device will be sold for $240 by Telstra, which is $39 less than Nokia’s $279 recommended retail price.
A Telstra spokesperson confirmed the Lumia 635 and Lumia 930 will be unlocked if purchased outright.

Nokia’s best Windows Phone yet
The flagship Lumia 930 runs Windows Phone 8.1 and has a 5in, 1920x1080 resolution screen. The smartphone uses an OLED panel, has a competitive 441 pixel-per-inch density and dons Gorilla Glass 3.
The colourful unibody houses a 2.2GHz quad-core CPU, 2GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. A 2420 milliamp-hour battery powers the smartphone and charging can be done wirelessly.
A 20 megapixel camera — benefitting from Zeiss optics and a complementary dual-LED flash — can be found on the rear of the Lumia 930, while a secondary 1.2 megapixel camera rests on its front. The rear camera supports full high definition video recording at a time where rivals from Samsung, LG and Sony can record in Ultra high definition video.
Pre-orders
