Kaseya has partnered Datacom to deliver IT management solutions to Australian customers as part an ongoing evolution to becoming an "IT management Cloud company"
Datacom has selected Kaseya’s Cloud monitoring solution, Traverse and Kaseya’s integrated IT systems management platform, Virtual System Administrator (VSA) Professional, to streamline management of its customers’ IT.
Traverse is Cloud solution that delivers enterprise-class network performance monitoring, business service management (BSM) and predictive analytics for Cloud, on-premise, hybrid, virtualised and distributed environments.
The new offering complement Kaseya’s systems management suite of products, including Kaseya Virtual System Administrator (VSA) Professional, enabling proactive management and monitoring of the entire IT infrastructure.
Datacom Director of Cloud and Tools for Australia, Rob Purdy, said: "At Datacom, we know that cleverly applied information technology makes a demonstrable difference to our clients’ businesses,” he said.
“This new partnership forms a critical part of our strategy to streamline the IT tools we use across our Australian operations.”
Purdy said the company had identified the need to replace and consolidate several of its monitoring tools that had become tired over a long period of time.
"There was also a strong recognition in the business that we needed a flexible solution that could scale to service our enterprise and SMB clients. Kaseya ticked all the boxes,” he said.
“The ability for Kaseya’s solutions to help reduce maintenance repairs while identifying and solving issues quickly, was also a key factor in selecting the company as its preferred partner. In terms of capability and value, Kaseya came out on top.”
It follows a partnership between Datacom New Zealand and Kaseya in July 2013.
Purdy said he had no doubt they would see similar results in Australia.
“Kaseya has impressed us right from the word go – from the high level of customer service to the ease of setting up the infrastructure within a tight timeframe, the partnership has been truly seamless.”
Kaseya managing director A/NZ, Dermot McCann, said strategic partnerships, such as its relationship with Datacom, were crucial in its bid to support the adoption of Cloud-based IT management solutions across enterprises in Australia, as Kaseya continues to evolve into an ‘IT Management Cloud company.
“The Kaseya team is very proud with how our partnership with Datacom in Australia and New Zealand is evolving," he said.
"We have had a lot of early successes together and are looking forward to continuing to facilitate increased efficiency and adoption of our combined cloud IT management tools in order to help drive business and enhance customer relationships."
