More than 800 channel partners converged on Sydney's Doltone house for the Ingram Micro Experience.
Experience is a five-city event hosted by Ingram Micro, which showcases the latest products, technology and service offerings from Ingram Micro's key vendors.
Vendors on show included APC by Schneider Electric, Microsoft, Symantec, HP, Samsung, Belkin, Lenovo, Cisco, Epson and Acer.
The event also included breakout sessions from four key vendors.
Microsoft partner channel development manager, Brett Fraser, gave a demonstration of the benefits of OneDrive, Office 365 and Windows 8.1, while enlisting resellers to join the Microsoft Demo Army.
"Our customers really don't know all the benefits," he said. "They need you, the resellers, to show them this cool stuff and move them into a new solution"
HP unveiled a range of major savings for customers and increased rewards for resellers ahead of the end of financial year.
HP will be offering 60 per cent discounts across its networking range until the end of the financial year.
Symantec account manager, Pete Madden, addressed challenges around Cloud security and indicated there would be some major new "higher value" offering from Symantec in the next 12-18 months.
"We will be working very hard over the next year and a half and you will see some higher value offerings," he said.
It has also launched a margin builder program which is offering a 10 per cent upfront discount to resellers.
APC by Scheider Electric showed resellers how to take advantage of the opportunity in the SMB space (branch offices, network closets and server rooms).
The company also explained how resellers could upgrade and right-size their virtualised environments and small spaces with full physical infrastructure solutions.
