Ricoh has appointed former Lanier Australia chief as managing director of Ricoh following the recent integration of the two companies.
The appointment follows the March announcement to unite the comanies' managed services and product offerings.
Lanier was acquired by Ricoh Group in 2001 as part of a global acquisition.
John Hall said his immediate priority was to ensure the smooth integration of the Ricoh and Lanier teams.
"I'm also keen to continue to grow the business to $500 million in Australia," he said.
"Ricoh Australia's focus will remain on innovation and providing value-added services to customers.
He said, during his tenure at Lanier Australia, he had focused on delivering increasing value to customers and that he planned to continue that focus at Ricoh.
"Ricoh seeks to continuously expand services around workflow, document management and managed IT services while continuing to supply best-of-breed print solutions to government, corporate and professional print organisations," he said.
Hall said Ricoh was on a strong growth path in Australia and I'm excited to have the opportunity to lead the company at this time.Read more: Ricoh joins Federal Government Managed Print Service panel
"I'd like to acknowledge outgoing managing director, Les Richardson, who led Ricoh Australia for six years and has positioned Ricoh well for the future. Les and I have worked closely on the integration of the two organisations. From this strong foundation I look forward to continuing to move the business forward."
