Print and imaging distributor, Alloys, has moved operations to a larger distribution centre in Acacia Ridge just south of Brisbane.

The new facility provides the specialist distributor with a state-of-the-art warehouse four times the size of its original distribution centre offering increased efficiencies and local stock levels for the Queensland market.

Alloys CEO, Paul Harman, said “Our growth in the Queensland market required us to continue to expand our operations in this critical region. This move is an outward reflection of our commitment to bringing the full non-traditional [distribution] methodology to the Queensland reseller channel as we continue to enhance our national footprint.”

The distribution centre will also feature a fully operational showroom with the latest range of colour printers, multi-function devices, wide format printers and document management solutions.

A comprehensive range of integrated technology solutions including audio visual, IP security and surveillance, networking and automation products will also be showcased in Acacia Ridge.

The showroom will be available to resellers for demonstration and seminars to local businesses with a host of guest speakers appearing during the year.

Alloys Queensland branch manager, Michele Scrivano, said the Brisbane team looked forward to hosting several business events in the new facility during the year.

Alloys will provide an opportunity for the Queensland channel to review the new facility in June at a VIP Launch event.
