<p>Two new multifunction devices delivering colour home printing, copying, and scanning plus the market’s first PictBridge compliant multifunction device</p>

· High-speed printing (up to 18 ppm black, 12 ppm colour)1;

<p>Sydney, 3 November 2003 – Canon Australia today announced the launch of two new multifunction devices designed for the modern home or small office, the imageCLASS MP360 and MP370.</p>
<p>Combining an extremely fast 4800 x 1200 dpi printer, flexible copier and precise scanner in one compact unit, the imageCLASS MP360 and MP370 offer new levels of affordable convenience. Whether it’s the practical and durable navy blue imageCLASS MP360 or the upmarket aluminium finish of the imageCLASS MP370, these new multifunction devices are the ideal complement in any setting where space and functionality are important.</p>
<p>The imageCLASS MP360 and MP370 are priced at just $299 RRP and $399 RRP respectively.</p>
<p>“Over the last 12 months, demand for multifunction devices has boomed and Canon sales have grown by five times in volume over this period,” said Helena van der Pluijm, Product Manager, Consumer Products Imaging Group, Canon Australia. “The majority of this demand has stemmed from the home market with our most popular devices being inkjet units capable of printing, scanning and copying – and the imageCLASS MP360 and MP370 are exactly that and more.”</p>
<p>Moreover, the imageCLASS MP370 offers the added convenience of printing photos directly from memory cards as well as from compatible digital cameras. The imageCLASS MP370 is the market’s first PictBridge enabled multifunction device.</p>
