The Smith Family has recognised the achievements of its Learning for Life students on March 5 with a graduation ceremony at the Hilton Sydney.
The Learning for Life program provides emotional, practical and financial support to assist disadvantaged children with their education, from the early years of learning development through to high school.
The program focuses on building skills, knowledge, motivation, self-belief, and a network of positive relationships with parents and peers.
The education and literacy-oriented charity's chief executive officer (CEO), Lisa O'Brien, NSW and ACT acting general manager, Jack Murphy, and volunteers were joined by students' families and friends to celebrate the accomplishments.
The event was hosted by Learning for Life student, Reeja Nasir, and featured a violin performance by pupil Amba Mercuri.
The graduation emphasised the Smith Family's motto, 'everyone's family', and encouraged community building.
