InTechnology Distribution has inked a deal with Cloud4Wi Inc – the world’s first Wi-Fi marketplace provider.
Cloud4Wi attempts to give Wi-Fi network owners the opportunity to add value and monetise their network by delivering next generation managed Wi-Fi services.
It is the marketplace for web apps and tools, able to enhance the end-user experience delivering innovative application services and to provide effective business tools to Wi-Fi hotspot service managers.
The company’s applications include Geo Chat, Net Coupons, Nearby, Advertising, Instant Win, Email Marketing, Social Login, Advanced Statistics, Survey, Click Analysis, Spot News, Places, External Link and Weather widget.
inTechnology Asia Pacific, managing director, Mark Winter, said there was an increasing amount of both public and private Wi-Fi deployments being implemented by organisations across the country.
“Cloud4Wi enables the channel, service providers and next generation managed Wi-Fi providers with the ability to monetize their Wi-Fi implementations through the Wi-Fi marketplace,” he said.
“The Wi-Fi marketplace enhances the experience of online users thanks to a completely custom interactive splash portal that boosts Wi-Fi business opportunities through location-based services, promotional spaces for advertising, geo marketing campaigns along with advanced presence analytics and statistics,” commented Mark.
“Cloud4Wi will bring to our customers high margin opportunities in the different market segments, such as retail, hospitality, leisure, healthcare, education, and so on,” Mark concluded.
Cloud4Wi chief executive, Andrea Calcagno, commented said Wi-Fi was a basic commodity.
“People want to get the Wi-Fi anywhere and anytime and, most of all, free-of-charge,” he said.
“So venues need to find a Wi-Fi solution to monetize their Wi-Fi.
“Thanks to the first Wi-Fi marketplace, Cloud4Wi perfectly addresses that challenge.
"We are delighted to be working with inTechnology Distribution and we believe that this partnership enables us to bring our expansion plans.”
