Guavus appoints new CFO to manage next stage of growth

Former Tabula CFO to take reins at growing Big data analytics firm

Guavus has named Mike Staiger new chief financial officer in a bid to help drive the Big Data analytics company's next stage of growth.

Staiger formerly served as chief financial officer of programmable logic solutions provider, Tabula, and has more than 20 years’ experience in both venture-backed private and public technology companies.

Prior to joining Tabula, Staiger was executive vice-president and chief financial officer of Copper Mountain Networks (Nasdaq: CMTN).

He has raised more than $300 million in private capital under a variety of financing structures and market conditions, and structured, negotiated, closed and managed strategic partnerships that have generated revenue in excess of $200 million, according to a company statement.

Guavus chief executive, Manish Goel, said the company had achieved extroadinary revenue growth by developing solutions that provides customers critically important business insights.

“We intend to continue on this trajectory in the coming years," he said.

"I have had the pleasure of working with Mike previously, and I am confident that Mike will play a key role in our future growth.

"His strong background in finance and business development adds important capabilities to the Guavus leadership team.

Staiger said Guavus had staked out an enviable leadership position in the big data analytics market.

“The next stage of growth promises to be an exciting time at Guavus, and I am pleased to be joining the team as they continue to build a dominant market position.”
