OKI Data names new regional channel manager

David Varidel named new regional manager for Victoria, Tasmania and SA

OKI Data Australia has appointed former Kyocera dealer manager David Varidel as new regional channel manager for Victoria, Tasmania and South Australia.

Based in Melbourne, Varidel’s responsibilities include channel development, new business growth, customer support and driving demand for OKI’s portfolio of award winning products, solutions and managed print services.

Varidel joins OKI Data Australia following four years as dealer manager - Victoria and Tasmania at Kyocera Document Solutions where he was responsible for running the dealer channel for its full range of printers and copiers.

Prior to that, he was European business development manager at IDM Instruments where his role encompassed account management, distribution sales and new business development.

Varidel has also worked in sales management positions at Snap Franchising, Kyocera Australia, Pencraft Group, Brother International and Sharp Corporation.

OKI Data Australia national sales manager, Greg Mikaelian, said he was thrilled to welcome Varidel to OKI.

“His extensive experience in the channel, his track record of driving success and his understanding of the printer market will be a strategic asset to our organisation,” he said.

“We look forward to achieving great growth in our southern state markets in 2014 and beyond.”
