Design software vendor Adobe Systems has signalled it is searching for a new distributor to serve the New Zealand market this month after its contract with software distributor Renaissance expired.
Renaissance shared the distribution of Adobe products with Tech Pacific until November 30, and while Tech Pacific will stay on, Renaissance and Adobe Systems have come to a "mutual" agreement not to continue business with each other.
"Our businesses have changed considerably in the last six years," said John Biviano, pacific sales manager for Adobe Systems. "Our growth area has moved out of the print product arena and into Web technology. So it's time to move on."
The vendor has indicated it will not name a replacement distributor until early next year.
