Noggin IT partners Intercall to hit APAC UC market

Initial focus on Australia, New Zealand and Singapore, then, Hong Kong, Korea, Japan, Malaysia, Indonesia and India

Cloud software provider Noggin IT has partnered with unified communications specialist InterCall, a subsidiary of West Corporation, to provide an enterprise resilient solution to the Asia Pacific region.

The partnership broadens Intercall’s unified communications services offering and extends the availability of Noggin OCA’s solution in the region.

The agreement sees the Noggin OCA Enterprise Suite fully integrated into West Corporation’s alerts and notifications portfolio and sold by InterCall’s direct sales force and channel partners throughout the Asia Pacific region.

According to a company statement, InterCall has over 100 direct sales consultants in Asia Pacific who will be taking the OCA solution to market.

Initially the focus will be on English speaking markets of Australia, New Zealand and Singapore with expansion into Hong Kong, Korea, Japan, Malaysia, Indonesia and India throughout the year.

Noggin IT managing director James BW said his company first integrated with InterCall two years ago.

“Since then we realised the synergies that existed in InterCall’s collaboration platform and customer base and decided to expand our relationship where InterCall would offer an enterprise resilience suite powered by Noggin OCA as part of their unified communications solution,” he said.

“InterCall’s global distribution will take Noggin’s leading edge solutions to new markets and multi-national organisations throughout Asia Pacific initially and then hopefully beyond those regions.”

Intercall head of UC strategy, Chris Franke, said it was an exciting partnership.

“Noggin’s approach to the way they developed Noggin OCA with an open framework and the ability to integrate with our platform allowed us to bring it seamlessly into our existing family of products, offering a cohesive story when we talk to a client,” he said.

“When an event occurs, the Noggin OCA system instigates the alert, by sending out SMSs, faxes, email and even voice messages simultaneously to fixed or mobile phones, alerting key personnel.

“With InterCall’s hosted communication and collaboration platforms, teams can then quickly and easily come together to resolve the issue – at any time and from anywhere.

“Strategically this relationship allows us to provide an enterprise resilience solution that manages the entire event life-cycle.”
