Aaron Weller has stepped down as managing director of Crucial Cloud Hosting, a company that he started in 2003, to pursue “other opportunities”.
In his departure, he has named current sales and finance director, Ijan Kruizinga, as his replacement.
Moving forward, Weller will move into an advisory role on the company’s board and continue to work with Kruizinga to steer the company through its next growth phase.
“Ijan is a natural leader who deliver results regardless of the environment he’s working in,” Weller said. “His enthusiasm for what we do and his determination to deliver the best services for our customers cannot be matched.”
Having worked with Weller since 2006, Kruizinga is credited for his customer-centric and value-driven approach to services which has made him instrumental to the company’s growth.
Crucial has experienced a transitional period over the past 18 months with various internal and external changes. These included the launch of the Blaze Cloud services which underpin Crucial’s Cloud platform, and the wholesale company rebrand in 2012.
Crucial will also be appointing new roles to be finalised soon.
