Distribution Central has won the Riverbed Technology Distribution Partner of the Year 2013 Award for the Asia Pacific and Japan region.
The awards were presented at Riverbed Sales Kick Off 2014, the company’s annual sales and partner conference, on January 13-16 in San Francisco.
Distribution Central has been a Riverbed value-added distributor for more than six years, launching its distribution partnership in 2007, and was also named Riverbed Partner of the Year and Distributor of the Year in 2012 and 2013 respectively for the ANZ region.
Distribution Central managing director Nick Verykios said to be recognised three years in a row was validation of the company’s continued investment in the partnership.
“We have created channel services to support and grow the Riverbed business and invested in a team that can deliver pre-sales and post-sales support, training and enablement tailored for Riverbed partners, marketing support and campaigns, and unique POD solutions, which have all contributed to a successful partnership for both DC and Riverbed,” he said.
Distribution Central has developed a range of channel services including: DC POC, which has supported the very high conversion rate of Riverbed POCs; DC PODfactory, including the upcoming PerformancePOD (powered by Riverbed and Fujitsu).
It also has a specialised training program developed for Riverbed partners (REVs) and delivered quarterly; marketing support for Riverbed partners to run successful lead generation campaigns; and a post-sales help desk.
Riverbed senior vice president Keith Hoskison said he applauded Distribution Central’s performance as a partner and looked forward to Distribution Central continuing to raise the bar in delivering business value.
