Navision is opening a Singapore office and taking some of its Australian human resources with it. Navision's Brisbane-based managing director Garth Laird and five of his staff are to assist the company in opening the Singapore office, CEO Jesper Blaser stated last week.
In a presentation in Sydney, Blaser said opening the Singapore office would provide a launch pad for expansion into the Southeast Asian region.
Laird however, denies the company is relocating its headquarters to the Asian region. "Both offices will be independently staffed," Laird said. "I am a director for the Brisbane office and will be for the Singapore one as well.
"My staff will initially provide training but will not stay in Singapore."
He reinforced Navision's commitment to its 220 channel partners.
