One of three new digital cameras released by the vendor this month, the AZ3 has a 3x optical zoom lens and a start up time of 1.7 seconds. Its newly developed 1/1.8-inch primary colour filter CCD has a total of 4.13 megapixels while real-time interpolation allows a four megapixel shot to be converted and saved as a 6.2 or 8 megapixel image. Colour correction adjustments can be made to the hue, saturation or luminosity. A Li-ion battery enables 180 minutes of playback while almost 200 minutes of video clips with audio can be captured when shooting 160 x 120 pixel images using a 1GB micro drive. The Sanyo AZ3 is distributed by Electroboard.
