ICT solutions provider Dimension Data has expanded director Keith Murray's role to take advantage of the growth in its managed services business.
Murray now takes charge of IT outsourcing along with his current responsibility for Cloud Services.
Dimension Data chief executive Rod Cunico said, to a large degree, the growth in managed services was coming from Cloud and ITO.
“Keith has been instrumental in establishing Dimension Data’s national Cloud team, and given his experience in the services market, we see real synergies from his ownership of both these areas,” he said.
“Keith has been with Dimension Data since 2009 and has been responsible for the company’s Managed Services business, which has grown steadily.
“His skills and experience in general management, leadership, sales and engineering will greatly benefit our go-to-market, sales and service delivery for this strategically important portfolio.”
Murray joined Dimension Data in 2009, after various roles at Racal, JTec (later known as Commander) and Datacraft.
In the last four years, Keith has led Dimension Data’s core Managed Services business.
