Ingram Micro Australia director, sales operations, Liz Wolahan, will leave the company on November 29.
The Dublin-born Wolahan, a long-serving stalwart of the distributor, is responsible for all aspects of sales operations and marketing
"The work I had been managing over the past three years was focused on building back up the sales operations side of the business in the context of new ERP systems implementation and the staged transition to offshore IM Shared Service," she said. "These projects are complete, successful and stable so now it's time for a new challenge."
"My last day is November 29 and after that I am planning on taking a break and by late January will start to look for new opportunities."
Wolahan's early career was in the finance and insurance industry before moving to WA in 1989 as an account manager with mining company, Hancock & Wright.
After three years, she moved into ICT joining with Telepacific in 1991. Wolahan, held several positions at Telepacific, culminating in WA State sales manager, before moving to Sydney and taking on the role of NSW State sales manager for NSW.
In 1998, she moved to Tech Pacific as marketing and business manager for the company's Telco business unit. Following Ingram Micro’s acquisition of Tech Pacific in 2004, she initially worked on the integration team before becoming director in charge of the third-party logistics business.
She went on to work across most areas of the IM business during her time at the company.
Wolahan has a Masters in Management from Macquarie Graduate School of Management in Sydney.
