Specialist value-add distributor, Connector Systems has added German-based networking vendor Digital Data Communications (DDC) to its product line.
This will see Connector Systems get access to a wide range of networking products from the brands owned by the DDC group including LevelOne, Equip and Conceptronic.
“We work to a well-defined vendor strategy at Connector Systems. Our approach is to partner with innovative companies who offer something compelling,” Connector Systems country manager, Andrew Craze, said. “We then overlay our pre-sales knowledge and customer service, resulting in a fresh offering that our customers can build their businesses on. The DDC Group is a perfect fit, providing a quality product portfolio of advanced technologies that represent great value for money, all backed by a global player that understands the needs of its customers.”
DDC group CEO, Amanda Chen, said the partnership extends the reach of the company into new markets in Australia, leveraging the strength of Connector Systems’ reseller network to expand sales in areas such as mining, manufacturing and transport hubs.
“We already have a presence in the local surveillance and digital signage markets, which we will continue to develop, but the partnership with Connector Systems will give us an opportunity to diversify our offering in Australia,” Chen said.
Connector Systems has offices in Sydney, Melbourne, Auckland, Wellington, and Christchurch. It provides a comprehensive portfolio of solutions in areas such as networking and wireless, security and telecommunications, voice, video and cabling, and storage, backup and virtualisation.
