US content management software developer, RedDot, has grown its local operation following a bumper launch, according to A/NZ managing director, Robert Holliday.
Owen Brandt and Alistair Duck join Holliday at the Sydney office - opened in June and RedDot's first in Asia-Pacific - to manage the company's CMS and LiveServer product lines respectively, as well as take on technical services and partner development roles.
"So far this year we've made more than double last year's sales," Holliday said. "We are kicking off some fairly large projects and are continuing improvement in key vertical markets."
Holliday said he was developing a partner network in Canberra to take concentrate on delivering content management systems to the federal government, as well as continuing expansion in Queensland.
"The market in Queensland is very strong," Holliday said.
There were no plans to open additional offices in Australia.
He was looking overseas to expand regional presence.
"The next logical step would be to open an office in Asia, but still running the Asia Pacific operation from the Sydney office," Holliday said. "With the new staff on board I can now concentrate on the strategic side of the business, including regional expansion."
Recent customer wins for RedDot have included Southcorp Wines, RACQ and Mayne Group.
The company has also embarked on a partner and customer training program following the launch of its XCMS enterprise portal software.
