Digistor to sell SnapStream TV monitoring solution

Reseller agreement to bring catered product to Australian market

Houston-based software company, SnapStream, has appointed local digital solutions supplier, Digistor, to sell and support its range of television monitoring and search products in Australia.

The SnapStream solutions enables users to monitor local and national TV coverage, providing the ability to record multiple channels at once, and search by keyword to find anything said on TV. Unlimited clips can be created and shared in the Cloud or distributed for post-production and broadcast.

SnapStream operates via a Mac or PC web interface, and is available in either the entry-level SnapStream DVB-T version, or the upscaled SnapStream Cluster variant to blanket TV with 24x7 recordings.

“We are delighted to have been appointed as SnapStream’s dealer,” Digistor managing director, Andrew Mooney, said. “We were amazed at the ease of searching and repurposing of TV content that their products provided when we saw them at NAB earlier this year.”

“Digistor will configure a specific solution to match a customer’s requirements. This will include the right SnapStream components, storage, archive, transcoding, editing facilities and network infrastructure depending on the application.”

Mooney claims there is a significant opportunity for SnapStream within the local market, and while it is targeted at all customers who require recording, searching and archiving capabilities, key applications include entertainment sector, government, and education.
