Bitdefender is overhauling its channel program, Partner Advantage Network, to include new features and benefits, as well as partner support and tools.
The move is a response to the security vendor’s growing exposure following the Virus Bulletin accolade and Product of the Year award from AV-Comparatives.
Bitdefender chief operations officer, Bogdan Irina, said the changes are being made from feedback by existing partners.
“The time is ripe for a complete, overhaul of our partner program,” he said.
“We have gained incredible momentum during the last couple of years, and believe the benefits and tools offered with our new partner program will lead to outstanding sales results.”
Partner rewards have been reworked to offer resellers higher margins, greater support opportunities, and custom marketing plans.
“Our program will provide greater incentives for partners to achieve high profits and worldwide hands-on training,” Irina said.
Other additions include lifetime recurrent and protected revenues, as well as clear partner rankings.
The updated channel initiative will be rolled out globally by Bitdefender, and is aimed at bolstering relationships with SMB, service providers and specialised channel partners.
