Roy Morgan poll reveals four of top five providers are iiNet brands

Adelaide-based Internet service provider (ISP), Internode, has topped the Roy Morgan ISP poll for the fifth month this year, achieving an approval rating of 91 per cent in the July report.

Second place went to Adam Internet, followed by iiNet, TPG, and Westnet.

According to Internode, the accolade continues the momentum it built by claiming poll position in February, March, Many, and June, and winning Roy Morgan’s Home ISP of the Year award for 2011 and 2012.

The ISP attributes its success to parent company iiNet’s ‘house of brands’ strategy, which, as the name suggests, refers to a portfolio of providers.

Roy Morgan, which has more than 70 years’ experience in consumer data collection, collects its ratings from a single source survey of around 50,000 Australian annually and a business single source survey of 22,000 business decision makers annually.
