Schneider Electric has released two new UPS aimed at powering entry level servers.
The new models, APC Smart-UPS C 1000-1500VA 230V tower and rack, and 2200-3000VA LCD short depth tower, come with the same core attributes as the overall Smart-UPS family.
The products are targeted at SMBs that are looking for a server grade UPS experience at a lower price point.
New additions to the UPS include an improved LCD display, a true sinewave output, high efficiency green mode, and automated voltage regulation.
Other features include USB communications, a server grade chassis, and the inclusion of Powerchute Business Edition software.
The UPS are available in either tower or rack forms so that they can be mounted in entry-level servers, voice and data networks.
In addition to the UPS servers, Schneider Electric has also released its MGE Galaxy 5500 UPS.
The UPS comes with three phase power protection to isolates and protect against power quality disturbances.
The MGE Galaxy 5500 has been designed to be power efficient via the ECO mode, which is achieved through efficiencies in double conversion.
APC Network management card 2 has been included for SNMP V3 compatibility and better integration with StruxureWare Central.
Upstream harmonic management has been added to enable smoother generator installation, as well as the ability to connect an optional compact transformer.
