MyNetFone NBN hits Coffs Harbour with local leadership

Ben Saunders appointed to lead mid north coast of NSW as VoIP service rolls out for home and business customers

Hosted voice and data communications services provider, MyNetFone, has rolled out its NBN-based phone and Internet services to residential and business customers in Coffs Harbour.

The services offer both sets of customers access to NBN Speed Tiers 1, 2, 4 and 5, with speeds ranging from 12MBps down and 1MBps up, to 100MBps down to 40MBps up.

Business customers can implement and utilise the service through a Virtual PBX phone system (provided by MNF) to channel calls over the Internet.

Residential NBN plans are available through a ‘pay as you go’ voice over Internet protocol (VoIP) plan with no line rental fees.

According to MNF chief executive officer (CEO), Rene Sugo, the vendor’s NBN service provides Coffs Harbour customers with a communications alternative which allows them to retain existing phone numbers while exploring VoIP.

Holding the fort

MNF has marked Coffs harbour as a regional hub and therefore committed to an immediate ‘on the ground’ presence with the appointment of Ben Saunders.

As mid-north coast NSW regional channel development manager, Saunders will be responsible for generating a greater footprint in the area by presenting local businesses and residents with a choice beyond the big telecommunications players.
